They troubleshoot problems and perform repairs on automotive systems including ignition, emission control, brakes, electrical, and suspension. They provide vehicle maintenance services such as tuning engines or replacing parts that wear out like spark plugs, batteries, fuel filters, and oil filters. They often work in a team and continue learning new skills over their entire career.
