We represent one trade with many crafts. Our members touch every aspect of a construction project; they’re frequently first on the job and the last to leave. You will find Local 1266 carpenters on commercial, residential, and institutional job sites, providing the skills and experiences that only union training can supply. Our craft areas include: metal stud framing, drywall, acoustical ceiling installation, millwork installation, cleanroom construction, utility solar installations, general carpentry, and more.

Prospective members should enjoy working with your hands, be up for a rewarding challenge, and have a can-do attitude. While Local 1266 members may have vastly different skill sets, all of them are highly trained in the most up-to-date theories and methodologies, tools, installation procedures, and safety measures.
Journeymen carpenters, on average, earn between $50-55k per year, and apprentices start at around $15/hour.
